over? She opens a pristine dog resort, of course.
Cindy Burton is a local entrepreneur with a mission: to provide first-class
accommodations with a twist. Cool Dog Ranch will be a high-end resort for
individuals, families, and their dogs. The pet industry has exploded across
North America in the last 25 years. In the US alone, statistics indicate
there are 68 million dogs owned or more simply, at least one in four
households has a pet dog and the numbers in Canada are similar. Moreover,

About Cindy Burton
A certified Level One dog trainer, Cindy Burton is the idea person behind
Cool Dog Ranch. Cindy founded her first company, Rainforest Publications,
in 1990. Over the next nine years, Cindy continued to grow Rainforest
Publications and in March 1999, renamed the company iWave.com. Cindy left
iWave in April 2001 and in 2002, joined Investors Group Financial Services
as a financial advisor. Along with being named one of Canada's 40 Under 40
for 2000, Cindy was named one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 CEOs in both
1999 and 2000 and has a track record of success in building companies.
